Hello LinusTech Community, 

 

I trust you are doing well. This is my introduction post. I am 31 and working on a MS in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Springfield. My undergraduate was in French from Laval University in Quebec City Canada.  I'm a bit of an Apple fanboy, though I have always tried to use different devices and platforms through out my life. My first computer/OS was an Intel Pentium computer running Windows 95 and my first video games were Doom and Are you Afraid of the Dark: Tales of Orpheo's Curse. I'm not a huge gammer, but I'm a casual gamer. I love a good story and great characters and a fun fps. My current devices are a late 2016 15 inch macbook pro with touch bar (i have an egpu), google pixel 2, and an iPad pro (last year's model) 10 inch. I use a standing desk and dual monitors (1 four k- the apple lg monitor and an asus hd monitor which I mainly use for coding). Outside of tech, I enjoy kayaking, reading literary magazines, and learning to cook new things. I love learning new things and I hope to learn a lot of you all here.
