Ryzen is supreme in value. Also, new Ryzen will drop soon, and prices with it. Chances are it'll hold its own against Intel.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Agreed ^^

AMD Ryzen CPUs are way better for their price, in my opinion. A ryzen 5 2600 would work good for you if you are on a tight budget, but if not in a hurry I suggest waiting for the new Ryzen processors

Depends on a variety of things actually. The 8350K is around the same price as the R5 2600, but beats it for gaming (once OC'd). And Ryzen CPUs require pretty fast RAM compared to Intel ones.

But generally speaking, AMD CPUs are a great value compared to Intel ones overall.

The 9900K, however it costs a fortune. Get an 8700K or 8600K if you're just gaming on your PC and you need a new CPU right now. Otherwise, wait until AMD Zen 2 CPUs are released.

It's not amazing, you should get an 8600K and ASRock Z370 Extreme4 instead of a 2700x and AM4 motherboard. And swap out that cooler for an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports ONE.

single treaded games are games that are programmed to make use of only one cpu
Multitreaded games are games programmed to make use of multiple cpu cores

Most games before 2013 i think are mainly single treaded games but multitreaded cpu's still share the game load, its not that they only use one core then. Games that are designed with multicore cpu's in mind, which is virtually with all the cpu's designed now the case, are more efficient in the results they produce

Single treaded games are those where the player only has one leg, multi-treaded is where the player has both legs.

Sorry, couldn't resist :)
