i have a 4tb hdd but i had made it into 2 partitions for windows 10 data and windows 7 data(i believe. that or i made it for windows 10 dual boot os) but the process went wrong and now that partition is dead. i un-allocated it and tried to merge the device and it says there is no space to create a partition. easeus has no options for that space. how can i delete that un-allocated space and merge it to gain my full hard drive space back. im willing to format the whole thing.(since im having issues with the drive not wanting to work with steam anymore). just dont know the way to do it. since all i know is how to wipe a partition using easeus. tried to add pic but this subreddit doesn't seem to allow pictures.

here is a pic of the drives if that helps.

When I run into a situation like this, I use AOMEI Partition Assistant.  The thing to remember is that everything happens in steps.  And in between the steps you have to hit the "APPLY" button in the top left corner of the screen.

So, what I would do is: delete partition, hit apply.  Create partition, hit apply.  Format partition, hit apply.

I can't tell if what you are using has the same sort of procedures to get it to work but might want to take a look at it.  I don't know why the deal with the APPLY button, just know that is what you have to do.

Good Luck.

well wehn i try to create a partition using windows data manager it tells me there is not enough space to make a partition that is the same size as the unallocated space. so i can not create it.

That's a bummer.  I have never tried DBAN so I honestly can't speak about it but I have been using the AOMEI Partition Assistant for a LONG time and I haven't found a problem that it wasn't able to fix.  Good luck.

AOMEI does not try to force you to burn it to a CD-Rom.  It installs directly to your hard drive.  And I forgot to mention there is a FREE version.  That is the one I have been using for a long time.
