Overclocking Help

I am going with a Ryzen 5 2600 and an MSI Armor OC RX 580 

 

I used thebottlenecker.com to see if any bottleneck, and it says GPU bottleneck. 

 

Should I OC just my GPU or should I overclock my CPU as well? Will OC my CPU just waste electricity or will it boost performance?

 

I plan on a GTX 1080 Ti later on, which thebottlenecker.com recommends.

 

P.S. Is thebottlenecker.com a good site to use to see bottlenecking or naw?

Bottlenecking is very situational so calculators like that are pretty useless as it can vary widely depending on the resolution and graphics settings.

The 2600 and the 580 are a good match for each other. I wouldn't worry about bottlenecking as it should give you nice performance at 1080p anyways.

Is 8gb or 16gb enough? Just 1080p@60fps gaming on like BF5, Fortnite, Overwatch, Witcher 3, med to high settings.

8 is enough, 16 recommend.

BF5 wants 16gb. Watch hardwareunboxeds video on how much ram do you really need for gaming.
