Couple things, Make sure you are on the latest drivers, make sure you are in a dual channel config(BF really likes dual) and make sure you don't have Resolution scale on 200%. Keep us up to date with your findings so others that may have an issue can find the solution.

okay so i feel pretty stupid right about now... it would appear that after updating my GPU drivers and using geforce to "optimize" my graphics settings the game had been set to 200% resolution scaling... i have no idea how i missed that but thank you all very much ? i have reset the scaling to 100%  the game now runs between 120 and 90 fps with DX12 Enabled

sorry to waste your time haha.

thanks.

Okay so feel free to call me stupid but i recently bought myself a 2560 x 1440 165hz G-sync monitor from ASUS and of course i was exited to play all of my favorite titles in beautiful 1440 resolution however i notice that in BFV i'm only getting between 50-65 fps in game, is this normal? i feel like i should be at least achieving 70-80... my specs are i7-9700k (OC to 5Ghz) Zotac 1080ti AMP Edition  16 GB T-Force Vulcan 2400Mhz and Z390-E ROG Strix.

If anyone could shed some light on whats going on / how stupid i am it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

-Dan.

I have a similar setup to yourself, consisting of:

  • Intel Core i7-8700K (stock)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
  • 2x 8 GB DDR4-3000 (dual-channel)
  • Asus ROG SWIFT PG278QR (1440p, 165 Hz, G-Sync)

When I max everything out but turn DXR off and stick with 100% scaling, I get around 140-160 fps - so something does seem amiss with your setup.

now I'm defiantly not in your league of hardware, but that seems extremely low to me. here is a video of BFV on a 1080TI, He got around 90-100 The entire time. If you can, use Afterburner or somthing and see if you are maxing GPU,CPU,Ram, what ever to make sure you don't have a bottle neck. Besides that just fidle with settings.

GeForce Experience is useless at "optimising" in-game settings.
