Recently my hard drives have become incredibly noisy, when i got both of them outside of my case my older HDD from 2013 was loud when i was just holding it while the other was not. So i replaced this WD Blue 1TB with a new one that i bought but now when iv put it back into my system its just as loud even though one WD Blue is brand new and the other not even a year old. I'm so frustrated because i cannot find what i'm supposed to do anymore.

How are your drives mounted?  Plastic trays? Screwed directly into bays (metal screw through metal support holes into HDD)? Any rubber grommets, washers, anti-vibration mounts?  Does the sound change or stop if you touch the top of the drive directly when it's making the noise?

They're mounted like this Image

The case is the Corsair Carbide Spec Alpha, it doesnt have any washers of sorts. If i hold anything close to the drives (or even the top case panel) i can feel it vibrating but holding the drives or drive cage doesn't reduce the sound in the slightest
