https://gyazo.com/6868066bba5248cdcc3c9ba719d06353 I bought a pre-built computer from a local computer shop and they seemed pretty sketchy. The power supply was super cheap and when I looked it up some forums said there was a possibility it could blow up if I pressured it too hard. I bought a new corsair cx600. Any ways, in the image it doesn't show what type of DDR_ my RAM Is. I was thinking of getting a new 2x4 kit (expensive) but then I saw it was 2400MHz and was unsure of if I should.

Specs are:

- Intel core i5-7500 (going to upgrade to 9600k)

- Asus GTX Dual 1060 6GB (computer came with Asus 1050ti Phoenix)

- Asus H110M-E MB

- Kingston 224GB SA400S37240G

- Deepcool case?

- Other external 1TB hdd i bought before.

then the unknown 8GB RAM

The physical ram will tell more than task manager. All we know is that it's DDR4. Download CPU-Z for data.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

The speed are on it. Guessing its a single 8gb 2400Mhz stick. In terms of what brand, just open up the case and look at the model number. Google and it should tell you.

It seems like you changed and is going change almost everything.. you might as well have just have built one yourself in the first place.. yikes at least you changed the power supply which I think is the most scary part, stay safe!

and i would recommend just getting another 8gb 2400mhz ram and run dual channel 16gb it would be better, anyways 1 8gb stick is cheaper than 2x4gb sticks (at least here in singapore)

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 @3.85Ghz, MotherBoard: Asus ROG Strix X370-F, RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB 3000Mhz

GPU: GALAX GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti EXOC White, Case: NZXT S340 Elite Matte White, Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB, PSU: Corsair CX650M
