Best way for drivers?

Best way to install drivers and update them after freshly installing windows on a new hard drive or ssd.

windows update for all the small stuff and nvidia's site for GPU drivers

That's kinda what it does... if you're worried about it not grabbing the right ones then just get the chipset drivers from the support section for your mobo.

When you first install windows 10, if you go to updates in settings and click "check for updates" it refreshes and gives you a whole list of what it's downloading and installing, usually all the chipset and device drivers as well as any OS updates.

Win Update has had feature to update drivers since Win7, though it hasn't been reliable until 10. If you want, you can download motherboards own software package and use that to update/install drivers. You may need to manually install some drivers if you are experiencing issues. For GPU, use manufacturers drivers. For peripherals, its up to you. Usually doing it manually will give out best experience. There's no all-in-one solution, thats how Windows is.
