CS GO Fps limiting lower FPS.

I get 300+ FPS on csgo everything max 1440p.

 

i set a 120fps limit. (fps_max 120 in console)

 

and then my fps lowers it hits like 109 - 117 not even 120 which defeats the point of me setting a FPS cap (screen tear).

 

tbh I don’t even notice screen tear but why have it if you don’t need it.
