You should check out a teardown of your laptop. You should then see how many ram slots are populated, that way you can fill the other(s) with matching dimms. Also, any 2.5inch hard drive or SSD will fit where your SSHD is, so if that's what you want to upgrade, you can get anything.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

should be this?

May I ask what you are planning to do on that laptop?
Because 16 GB of ram is pretty good.

For HDD I can't recommend to put one inside, better keep a reliable fast samsung ssd inside and use external HDDs if you need the big storage place.
Hopefully it has USB 3.1 :)

but not follow it fully, exept if you want to completly dismantle your laptop
