can you run a gtx1080 8gb whit a 1070 8gb together,or do you have to use two 1070 or 1080 cards?

You have to use two gpu's with the same die, aka two 1070's or two 1080's

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

but crossfire is a bit more relaxed with this.. i think.
