Dell MOBO in a new pc case

mikeymaiden

Hello, I have a dell 790 with quite a lot of upgrades. I am looking to transfer it into a new Cooler master case. I am just worried that i might run into some problems, If you guys know any problems I would run into when installing please reply back.

thanks

would also be a good option, i personally like the q300l more, but that one doesn't look bad either

The power button is on a 5 pin proprietary plug and needs to be connected to the motherboard in order to boot with no errors. On mine I had to tuck this away and solder the power switch from the case to the old power switch.  Front io uses a proprietary plug, pinouts are hard to find, but not bad. On mine the leds and front usb and audio all used the same plug, so to get everything working I had to find the pin out of that annoying plug and solder everything to the dell plug.
