PLZ HELP ASAP

i have i gaming pc i made i have bean using is for 3-4 months now when my pc started not turning off it was strange it will say it is going to shutdown then the screen will go black but my pc is still ruining plz help i have all drivers and McAfee anti virus have scan my pc so i don't know maby you do i just wanna have my pc back up and ruining

Does the screen go black as in no signal or is your computer just outputting a black screen?

I had this same problem.

I'd click shut down.. windows shutting down and monitors would go black after a few seconds but fans kept going so I just held down the power button for a few seconds until the computer turned off.

The forced shut downs never caused any problems and it stopped happening when I bought a new PSU.

Mcafee at this point is basically bloat ware....don't use it.

 

With regards to your actual problem there's a couple of things that I would suggest.

 

The first is making sure that the quick startup feature is turned off in Windows.

 

The second is to reset your bios to default , There's a few things in there that can cause issues with power states etc that might stop it properly shutting down.

 

Someone else with a bit more knowledge might come along if those don't work.

I realised afterwards , Somehow read 2013 as 2023.
