WD Blue M.2 SSD Setup Help

I just purchased the "WD Blue 3D NAND SATA SSD M.2 2280", I physically installed it into my motherboard, but I have not been able to see it in my bios and windows does not seem to recognize it. Western Digital does not provide any instructions and the manual for my MOBO doesn't help much either.

 

I am using an "Asus ROG Crosshair Vi Hero AM4" motherboard. I currently have a 500GB Samsung SSD as my only drive for my PC, but I'd like to use this the M.2 as my boot drive once I get it working.

 

I double checked that this MOBO and M.2 SSD are compatible and I've looked for guides on how to solve this problem, but I can't figure it out.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

If i am not mistaken,u should allocate disk space on that drive in disk management. My problem was with sata SSD,not recognizable in windows,allocating the space on it worked and it showed up and worked perfectly,so u can try that.
