Freezing during gameplay

Hey so i have gtx 1050 ti and g4600 and 8gb ram . Generally i think i should be ok with playing a game with 30 - 60 fps and in a lot of games i reach those fps . The problem is that even if i sometiems have over 60 fps my game still freezes . For example in pubg i have pretty low fps overall and i get huge freezes . Those freezes are not just low fps . I know what low fps is i have been playing with laptop over 10 years . The computer cant seem to hold even the amount fps that it puts out . For example in fortnite i might have 80+fps but even just running straight the experience isnt smooth at all and i get freezes regulary . Those freezes are for like 0.1 - 0.7 seonds long and they are really hard to ignore . I know something is wrong and i cant seem to figure out what . Is it my hardware or something else? I even did a factory reset on the pc and the problem is still there .

If somebody is willing to help me solve this issue im ready to record video footage and get msi afterburner or a program that i can monitor my gpu / cpu ussage etc. and put it out there .

those kind of freezes usually happen when the CPU usage is pegged at 100%, seems like your CPU is too weak for todays games, it's only a 2 core 4 thread.

check your CPU usage during gameplay, and also limiting the FPS might help you, it lowers the CPU usage.

the higher the FPS the higher the CPU usage will be.

The freezes still occur playing older games . For example in gary's mod my usage seems to be around 40 procent but freezes still occur .
