I recently took out my gtx 660 and put in a gtx 1070 to try it out and it didn’t work. So I put the gtx 660 back in my computer and now everything is running slow, I’ve tried downloading drivers and restarting the computer and nothing is working. I was able to play Csgo with a steady 100+ FPS now it has lag spikes and drops frames. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try that, but do you have any idea why a gtx 1070 didn't work in your pc?

I’m using ddr3 ram in my motherboard instead of ddr4. It’s a intel motherboard. Putting the 1070 in just ruined my computer now it’s not the same with the 660 in it

If your motherboard takes DDR3 RAM it won't work with DDR4 RAM, they are really different. I still don't know why the 1070 affected your 660
