Hi All,

So this is the situation so far, came home from the gym one night and my PC would not turn on. the specs of it are,

- Intel Core i5 6500
- Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Red CPU Cooler
- MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB
- MSI B150 Gaming M3 Motherboard
- Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M2A2133C13 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4
- Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB 2.5in SSD
- eVGA 120-G1-0650-XR Power Supply: 650W 80 Plus Gold

- ASUS PCE-AC56 Dual-Band Wireless AC1300 PCI-E Adapter

- and just a basic 1tb storage Drive, cant remember the brand

When I attempted to turn it on, it would boot for half a second then swtich off, I pulled everything out of the case and tried every configuration imaginable, at one stage all I had was CPU, MOBO, Memory and PSU. Everytime I plugged in the CPU power lead it would behave the same.

Tried a spare power supply to the same result. After some research I thought it was the MOBO, purchased a ASUS ROG STRIX B250H Gaming LGA1151 ATX Motherboard, after installing everything the PC powers on, but doesn't post anything to the screen.

I then attempted the process of elimination with the new MOBO but nothing would change. During all of this I also do not receive any BIOS beeps. I have cleared the CMOS on both MOBOs.

I am wondering whether it is my CPU that is fired, my Memory or the new MOBO is a DOA.....

Any help or suggestions would be great!
