Constructive feedback wanted for video ;) [Member Review]

AuXDubz

Evening all,

So after considering for the last couple of months i have decided to open up a new channel, but instead of gaming channel i have gone down the route of my current life love - tech. Yet having 4 yrs worth of YouTube knowledge the standards in the communites get higher and higher per day per hour! So i just wanted to share one of the first bits of content that has been created for the channel with you guys to see what your opinions are about it, and would you think i should do to higher the quality of the video thus making more enjoyable to watch. I aim to upload the highest standard quality of videos that i am able to produce so feedback is key! ; )

- Sam :)

PS: @ Forum Mods, trust me when i say that i am the worst person at placing a thread in the correct sub forum so forgive me if i have done it wrong *fingers crossed*

Nice mic wow. Such the Tek quality. For your channel to grow, perhaps script it or write down some points so you can keep the video much shorter and consise. Unless you have a fanbase like on TekSyndicate, I don't think you'll attract many 12 min viewers. Just my 2 cents :)

OOOO nice. I'd wish that the packaging would've been way better. Looks cheap but the commentary and video footage is descent.

For us (in the UK) the price on Amazon has not been updated but if you go on their site i managed to get mine for around 69-75 or for the US $99. Been using them for the last couple of hours now after my eyes started to strain and well a few hours down the line i am still online and my eyes feel good :)

Good video. Just work on the slurring of your words a little.

Thats more of a life goal..... Its a problem with my vocals that i have been trying to fix for a long time haha, but sometimes i have to accept the voice i was given lol

I know Gunner sells perscripted lenses but I'd cost a fortune if it was for me...Can you send me a link. I'd be much appreciated. Is there any deviation between the clarity of the colours since the tint is a warm autumn yellow?

See what really annoyed me was that I had an optician appointment after I bought the glasses but before they were delivered and unfortunately I found out that I was slightly short sighted so I don't currently have the prescription lenses although they currently seem fine. http://amzn.to/1h9vCeq (Not sure when they are updating price on here :L) - The deviations between the clarity of the colours was something that I was seriously worrying about when I first thought about getting this piece of eyewear - from using them over the last couple of days I can now tell you what they look like - When you first place the glasses on your vision seems slightly tinted orange but over time (5-10mins) your eyes adjust and then everything seems all good :D - From my experience so far they have reduced eye strain.

Yeah, I slur my words quite often.

Previous experience with braces does not help xD

MXL 990: The mic has done a good job over the last year or so that i have owned it ;- ) Thanks for the guidance i personally wish to develop the videos to have more B-roll + after recorded commentary but to be completely honest i'm at the stage of the game where i'm testing what goes down the best ~ Cheers

Not exactly sure how to reply to that lol

Nice job though. I would recommend scripting though just so you can organize your commentary. Also, maybe zoom out a bit? Just so we can see everything. Other than that, it's really good. What video editing software did you use? I like the little thing on the top left that will pop up every once in a while

Downside of having a PRIME lense xD - You have zoom, but that is at the expense of having better quality glass. - Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated....
