Hey everyone

So long story short I own a camp for construction workers to stay when out of town. To supply wifi to everyone i have a telus hub. Its mainly for basic stuff like Facebook and such but some people are using it for streaming. It really slows the wifi down for everyone else. Im wondering if thr is an easy way to setup wifi restrictions that block video streaming?

I think you would just want to apply an upload bandwidth limit

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

The easiest solution is to pick up a Ubiquiti UniFi Access Point, it lets you set bandwidth (upload and download) policies either per user or per group (i.e. everybody who connects). It also lets you monitor the bandwidth usage for individual devices so you can go in and throttle devices that are hogging the bandwidth even more.
