So i recently purchased an i7-8700k and want to start streaming, I mainly game on it and i want to start streaming games. I am going to build a new computer. So far i have the case(NZXT S340) the ram (16GB of Gskill TridentZ 300MHZ), 1 TB Hard Drive, GTX 1060 6gb, but i need help deciding on what Motherboard and what CPU Cooler to get. I am Looking To Get the motherboard For Under $100 and the Cpu Cooler For Under $60. I will be overclocking, so i want it to be cool and i dont really care that much about it being that quit i just want the best performance out of both of them. Thank you!

little bit more expensive but i couldn't find a mobo that had decent vrm under 100 dollars

as for the cooler its also a bit more but it will give you much better performance then a cheap cooler

if you want even better performance however i would recommend going with a dark rock pro or noctua dh15 however they are both out of your budget

He'll need a Z370 motherboard or Z390 motherboard for overclocking as the B360 doesn't support it. For motherboard, probably something like a Gigabyte Z370XP will work out ok.

Just a reminder, a low end Z370 motherboard and mid-ranged cpu air cooler for an 8700k isn't going to allow for high overclocking.

Hmmmmm

Maybe just get the dark rock 4 instead of the pro 4, then spend like $130 on a mobo

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
