Hi i have had my hyper x clouds for about 6 months now and for the past month there has been a static noise sometimes it just completely goes but most of the time i can hear it and when i touch something metal the static noise stops anyone know a way to fix this?

Current PC and Peripherals

CPU: i7 6700

CPU cooler: Cryorig H7

GPU: Evga RTX 2070

Memory: 16gb Corsair RGB

HDD: 1tb WD blue

SSD: 120gb Kingston

Headphones: Hyper x Cloud

Keyboard: Logitech g810

Mouse: Logitech g502

Monitor: Aoc 60hz

 

Other tech I own

iPhone 8

Edifier Prisma

Amazon echo dot

Apple Airpods

Go Pro Hero 7

I can hear in headphones and plus people can hear it through the mic aswell

there's no fix its just an issue with it in general I just enable noise suppression in discord and it removes it completely from my testing

 

this is for mic btw if your hearing static in your headphones that's not listening to the mic then theres another problem somewhere

Ok so its a software issue going on.  Where do you plug the jack into ,, sound card or on board sound ?
