give it a shot.  if the card is toasted, then probably nothing will happen, but something bad might happen...I mean the card itself certainly isn't going to do anything good.

 

  I get the curiosity factor, but at the same time, that's like jumping into a lake and getting wet, then being curious about if jumping into the lake again will get you wet again.
