4k Gaming Build

SSJGodemis

Hey All, I am building a 4k Gaming build for my buddy. He cant go much over $2,000 which means he cant go for a 2080 Ti. So far this is what I have build, it includes the 4k Gsync monitor. I actually have the same one. I know its a TN but its pretty high quality and offers a great value, I mean 4k and G-sync with 1ms response for under $500, its pretty damn good.

However, could I do any better on here?

Prime a? If you're fine with going atx, you can get much better for your money. G1+ isn't that bad, but maybe a pure power 11, focus gold, whisper, formula gold, txm, rmx or something around would be better? Vega 64 cards are pretty cheap rn, get a nice freesync monitor with it and you can do this build for much less with just a little performence less

Is the Prime overkill? I think the RMX was the same price.

Vega 64 is around 35% slower. It's not really able to drive 4k effectively in demanding games.

No, underkill. No vrm heatsink is stupid at that pricepoint. A pro4 from asrock would be a much better choise.

ForI the gpu it's also almost a 1,75 times increase in price, so keep that in mind. The corsair rmx is better than this psu

For sure, that will help cut it down then. And Ill pick up the RMX.

Its basically near double the cost lol. Unfortunately, its just kind of where GPU prices are now. Hopefully with DLSS, the card only gets better and better at 4k.
