Here's a fun one... help!

I just replaced my motherboard and everything seems to be functioning just fine from a hardware stand point. The computer goes through the normal motions and loads my windows 10 login screen just fine. The problem comes in after I sign in. All it loads is a black screen with a courser. No menu bar no icons nothing. Ctrl+alt+delete still works though, and I can use the task manager. What the heck is going on here?

Edit: It has successfully loaded up once, but I have not been able to duplicate that.

Try to open explorer.exe in task manager.

If you go into task manager, go to file and run a new task called "explorer.exe"

that sounds like a corrupt windows. reinstall or repair it. the first is the easiest

The windows can sense wether you have changed hardware so go to windows support because that's what happens when Linus uses authentic windows os

I have changed everything about my PC specs except for the hard drives and it still booted fine...
