Laptop GPU could have failed

Dieter.koenig

Hi. I have an Laptop Hp Elitebook 8460p with AMD RADEON HD 7400M GPU but after I Overclocked my monitor from 60 to 120 Hz it could have caused the GPU to fail, first 2 days after overclocking the monitor it worked fine but after 3 days the screen starded flickering then after another 3 days, I did a fresh OS reinstall (thinking this could fix the screen flickering) but another issue starting to show up, after installing the gpu drivers my screen turned to black with a cursor in the middle. Tried some YT tutorials to fix the black screen with cursor but after booting up now it shows as below:

Try resetting the bios (Flash it, take out then put back in CMOS battery, etc.) Other than that you might need a new laptop.?
