GPD POCKET 2?

Hi  I need a laptop for school that can do basic word/office tasks and run linux that is also quite small preferably . Is the GPD Pocket 2 with 8gb ram and 128 gb of storage adequate for that? Also does windows/ubuntu go crazy on a 7 inch screen?
