Do u think this is build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2zorH is good enough to play TF2,L4D2 AND BF4 at the highest settings and last for 4 years maybe? (with at least 40fps)ps.more worried about bf4 not tf2 and l4d2.Or should i change to cpu to a fx8320 or maybe a i5 or this is good enough,i juz wanna save as much money as possible but willing to spend more if it really makes a huge difference.

It won't make a huge difference, that build is pretty damn good but with how cheap 2TB hard drives are nowadays I'd recommend one of those.

Console optimisations and how they will effect you | The difference between AMD cores and Intel cores | Memory Bus size and how it effects your VRAM usage |
How much vram do you actually need? | APUs and the future of processing | Projects: SO - here

Intel i7 5820l @ with Corsair H110 | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600Mhz | XFX Radeon R9 290 @ 1.2Ghz | Corsair 600Q | Corsair TX650 | Probably too much corsair but meh should have had a Corsair SSD and RAM | 1.3TB HDD Space | Sennheiser HD598 | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro | Blue Snowball

You won't be able to max BF4 you need a 3gb GPU for that such as a r280x. I have a 7870 (2gb GPU) and I can play bf4 on ultra but I have to have antialising off and I get very bad frame rate drops briefly every 10inites though I'm not sire if that's just because the game is buggy.

You want it to be future proof so I would recommend changing the CPU to an 8 core fx as the new consoles have 8 cores games will start utilising that number of cores in the next few years. The one I have in my parts list below is the best one. If you go for one remember you will need a different motherboard. Finally unless you are going to over clock you dont need an aftermarket CPU cooler the stock one is fine. Of course if you want to oc you will need one and having one will make your computer quieter. Its up to you.

|| Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 || RAM: 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengance (3000) || Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450-Plus || Graphics Card: Gigabyte RTX2070 || Storage: 750GB SSD (2 Drives), 3TB HDD (2 Drives) || Case: NZXT H500 || Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W ||

my current system already has plenty of storage so the 1tb actually optional and i dont think i really need that much of storage but thanks i may consider.

You can never have enough storage :P especially with hard drives it's best to buy them while they're cheap.

okay cause i thought the athlons are very good for the money but how juz high settings and probably with antialising.or juz get the fx8320?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2zASB

I would say go for the 8320 for the best performance but the am3 socket is dead so if you want to be able to upgrade, go with an fm2+ motherboard and the athlon.

Keep in mind Mantle is coming so that could remove the cpu bottle neck with the athlon(maybe). I personally grew tired of waiting for Mantle so I sold my 7950 and went with a GTX 780.

Current system? What are you specs? Maybe you can just upgrade instead of getting an entirely new system.

Haha true but my current system is totally a crap.Juz upgrading the gpu will surely bottleneck

Maybe you don't have to replace all of your parts.

It does look like a full system upgrade would be appropriate.

If you mean the question in the OP, it will play all those games fine but having it to continue to keep up with upcoming games for 4 years is probably not going to happen.

Thanks for your answer but I meant the question abt Mantle

Mantle is a new API that supposedly makes it so games will automatically scale to however many cores are available and make them accessible to the game.

AM3+ cpus will probably be able to utilize mantle.
