Runelite gpu plugin nvidia vs amd

Alright so I have a 1050ti and plan to upgrade to a rx 570 (small upgrade ik) im getting it for free sync and because the price difference after I sell my 1050ti is small. Anyways I am asking generally for tips on free sync how well it works but the question of this topic is about runelite. https://github.com/runelite/runelite/wiki/GPU-FAQ Runelite is a client for old school runescape a very old game brought back for nostalgia. This client allows the game to use the gpu and VASTLY improves the framerate so its 100% needed. My question is between nvidia and amd is there a large difference between opengl 4.3 performance. I know both cards have strengths and weaknesses. Task mamager says its using the 3d part of the gpu if that helps. Im guessing a faster card will always be faster but I can't find any information on this. Any help would be appreciated sorry for the stretch but im trying to clarify everything. Thank you

I have been having an extreme amount of difficulty ensuring that runelite is actually using the GTX 1050 in my laptop instead of the HD630. I just bought a used rx 480 to build a budget PC as I can no longer tolerate it.
