RYZEN Laptop [w/ Linux]

I would like a computer specification analyst's perspective on Ryzen Mobile. Is it objectively better than Intel in terms of their Vega Graphics? I am upgrading from i7 Haswell for context. Also curious if AMD has any plans for eGPU support on Ryzen Mobile.

 

This computer will run Linux {Ubuntu MATE most likely w/ Windows VM}.

 

I just need enough graphics power to use for my games. (Civ VI, Rocket League, & the occasional Free-To-Play MOBA)

Graphics are better than what Intel offers.

I know that the latest version of the Linux Kernel has support for Ryzen & Vega. 

 

Would the Vega Graphics be enough for my "gaming"?
