Looking for first pc build tips

Bwalsh_13

Hey Guys, looking to build my my first PC for gaming. Want to switch from using ps4 to PC. Don’t wanna blow the bank. Just want to be able to play games like fortnite and far cry at 1080p, 60fps +. Looking to spend aroun the $1000 -$1500 mark. Would love a few hints, tips or tricks to get me started off on the right foot and in the right direction!! Cheers. X

If you just want 1080p 60fps, you don't need to spend >$800. This build would be suited for it.

But he can spend $1500 so why not jump up to 1080p ultrawide @100HZ or 1440p at 144HZ with a few setting turned down with 1070 Ti?

Nope, ultrawides are either 29 2560x1080p or 34 3440x1440p

25 inch ultrawide is not something that works out, way too small.
