AE Code on mobo, no boot

Just put my pc together. TR 1950x, Msi x399 gaming pro carbon, rtx 2080. The code AE is showing up on the motherboard when I turn the pc on with no boot on the monitor. However the monitor flashes but then doesn’t do anything after that. Anyone know how to fix this?

The "AE Error" most likely means it's having a problem booting (Though you should check your manual). Make sure you have a HDD/SSD connected with an OS on it.

If you can access the BIOS, try changing the boot device to a storage device that has the OS or to the form of installation (USB, CD, etc).

Is your OS by chance on a m.2?
