Red lines

I booted up my pc after about a week of not using it and there are all these red flashing lines all over the screen. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Just booted up my pc after about 2 weeks of not using it and now there are all these red lines flashing on the screen. Anyone know what could be causing this?

dying GPU or monitor are the most likely culprits. Condensation perhaps?

I also cleaned my pc just the outside of it before I booted it on. Any chance I might have knocked something around while doing so?

Check the cable to make sure it's in properly or try replacing the HDMI/DP cable.

So I cleaned the inside my pc not too dusty the graphics card itself was a bit dusty. I also updated the drivers and well now the problem is gone
