I enjoy watching PC builds and I enjoy computers in general and I want to look into building my own pc. I can’t afford to build a PC right now but I want to plan ahead and I wanted to know what are the best parts for a beginner and don't put me in debt.

I was thinking $1,000-$2,000.

I would not plan ahead when you are going to build a pc. Once you have the money than plan the build. You never know when new hardware will come out or how much the parts will cost in the future.

This is correct.

 

@technoob04 For example, if you plan create a parts list now but wait until 4-6 months from now to buy those parts you will potentially miss out on better hardware that will release. Ryzen 7nm releases in March and may be faster than anything Intel has to offer at a similar or better price. GPU market should be pretty much the same though.
