[Complete Build] Two systems. One case.

So, I kinda just wanted to show what I've been working on over the past 2 months or so. Ordering parts here and there. I was going to go a full water cooled loop but decided to hold off on that. My second graphics card is in the mail. Should be arriving soon. If you guys would like to see more on this as I get parts let me know. I'm still thinking about doing a full single loop inside this case. I'm also in the middle of tackling a pretty big issue I have. Which is figuring out how to get the fans to run regardless of which system is on but also power off if both systems are off.

Here's a part list;

Sys2 = Top

Why would you do this, why not pool the money and get 1 better system.

One system to be used for streaming, hosting servers, hosting a NAS, whatever the hell I want it to do pretty much. Nothing gaming related.

One system to be used strictly for gaming.

So system 1 has a better CPU and worse GPU? What for?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Then why do you have a 1050 ti in one and a rx 570 in the other, what you're going for seems like you'd need one fast GPU for playing games and one slow one for the server.

Corrected it. Typo on my part.

Sys1 has the RX 570.

This can be done, but I don't remember exactly how.  The complex way is with relays, but since both supplies are DC, I think you can just add a diode to each supply line and join them at the fan?  An expert in circuits could solve this straight away.

Yeah I was thinking of going a PLC route. Using a microcontroller to receive both inputs from both motherboards and sort it out. But I feel like there is a much better way to come across this.
