I Want to experience my first 144hz monitor  for gaming only( currently on a 2010 60hz )

Gpu is RX 580 8gb

Im looking for a good yet affordable 144hz freesync monitor.

So i guess its going to be a TN  1080l panel with 1ms?  Should I go curved or no? 24" or bigger?

Looking for suggestion under 300$ canadian

If you can accept curved monitors, then the MSI MAG24C is the best option, being 144Hz Freesync and VA panel (which solves the poor colour of TN, but retains the viewing angle problem).

If it's flat monitors only, then the AOC G2590FX is my recommended choice.

how ppl hate curved ? what r the drawback in gaming ( fpshooter)

I don't seem to mind my curved monitor, though I could see how it may take a little bit for some people to adjust to them though.  I've got the MSI MAG27C, and it's working great for me.  I like to sit a bit farther away from the screen than many other people so I opted for the 27" If you sit closer then the 24" is probably great, and a bit less money.

I would recommend the ASUS MG248QR myself.

Grabbed one last year, and got another one this Black Friday for $279 (regular price $369) at Staples...

Well damn, it's back up to $329 now..

27" might get a bit pixelated with 1080p; would recommend 24" instead.
