CPU or GPU upgrade..

Hello all,

 

So I have a pc with a i5 6600(non k) and a R9 Fury(non x). My question is, would a GPU upgrade or a CPU upgrade be more beneficial? If I were to upgrade the cpu, i'd probably go with a 9600k or a Ryzen 7 2700. As for the GPU.. I'm not quite sure... I'd like to stick with AMD as this PC uses Freesync effectively, So probably a Vega 64 If I can find one.

 

Anyone have any opinion on which would be more effective? Gaming at 1080p, Some AAA titles, and MMOs

CPU would be a better upgrade, R9 Fury is still a good card. I'd go for a 6700 or 6700K.

It's a pretty good upgrade from the 6600. If you're just gaming at 1080p, your Fury will last you another year at least.
