TL;DR

 

As Long as your physical body is legal for flight, you can study flight as a degree in college. 

I believe the USA flight standards are respected worldwide so you should be fine with a USA college degree with the flight training & licensing. All you really need is the license as far as I’ve been told; then you just apply to companies. 

 

Edit:

you can change your career whenever you want. People go back to college at 30~ and just start a new career. I know a 50~ year old on his third pension as a school administrator.
