Error 43 when updating gpu.

I've built a computer and I'm having a problem. I have the driver that come with the gpu installed, it's from 2014, but I cannot update to any newer driver because I get an error code 43. Ontop of that, I play games like My Summer Car on it just fine but when I try to use unreal engine 4 it crashes to blue screen or just closes it.

I have a GTX 750 ti

Psu is vs500w 

8gb ram

AMD Athlon x4 950 3.5 ghz 4 core

 

Still have gpu errors but fixed the blue screen crash but when I play games I get a like green checkerboard pattern on screen then black screen and i have to restart.

Have you tried reseating the card or trying another pci slot?
