Two wires to one monitor.

I know it's stupid, but I just want to know what will happen if you plug two cables from one graphics card to one monitor, will it break something or will it just work normally ?

it'd use the primary input on the monitor, usually VGA to keep it compatible with older hardware but some have a switch button

Your PC may thing that it's using 2 monitors. Your monitor won't care.

5K and some 4K monitors do use 2 DisplayPort cables, but this will be in the manual that came eith the monitor.
