Asus monitor setup... I really need help

So, i have a gaming laptop the Asus rog strix gl703vm and i bought a new monitor the Asus rog swift pg27vq. I connected the monitor to the laptop via a displayport and when i adjust the refresh rate on my display settings to 165hz after tow seconds it goes back to 60 hz.. Does anyone knows what to do? Need the help
