Problem with MA610P

Hi, I have sort of a "problem" here, I recently bought a Cooler Master MasterAir MA610P, everything works fine BUT no RGB lights are turning on and I was wondering if it's my Power Supply or my Motherboard that doesn't support it. So far I've unplugged everything and plugged it back again, even disabled some fans to see if that was the problem but so far no good news.

 

This is my current Build:

 

AMD A10-6800k @4.6Ghz

Asus A85XM-A

8 GB DDR3 HyperX @2066 Mhz

Cooler Master Extreme 2 625W

From what I can find on the product pages, it seems you need to use the included RGB controller as your motherboard does not seem to support RGB lighting natively.

There should be an extra cable specifically for the lights, if not the fan should come with 5pin cables instead. Your mobo does not have RGB headers though so there's no place to plug them in. That's why lights dont work.

Thanks for the answers, and yes it comes with a "controller" and I've plugged it in but still no lights, so.... is my motherboard after all right?

the controller itself needs to be plugged in to the motherboard. Usually a USB 2.0 header (not port) and SATA power or molex power.
