laptop 1060 gpu undervolting

Im trying to use MSI afterburner to undervolt my laptop as it gets very hot when under load.

What would guys suggest I do as Im very confused and the guides arent making any sense to me

Trial and error. Every silicon has its own limits.


OC core clock to your desired frequency by sliding right in the core clock bar, then open the curve, flats out frequency for the voltages above your desired max voltage (I suggest 0.85V-0.95V), result should be somewhere like this:
