How To Make my nvme 960EVO bootable

XDejvii

Hey there! My computer will have:

- Asus z370-f motherboard,

- WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive,

- Samsung NVMe 960EVO 250GB

I already know its all compatible so there are no problems with that.

What I need to get is some instructions on what to do when I build the computer and run it. I already have a Windows 10 image on a USB. I know I have to open the BIOS, but then it all gets difficult for me. I don't know much about the BIOS settings so the help would be really appreciated. I tried to search for videos online but couldn't find anything very helpful and understanding.

Can you please make a step-by-step of what to do in the BIOS. Thanks! ;) and please dont post any links to articles cuz the're usually difficult to understand for me :P

You insert your USB, boot into it, install the OS on the 960 EVO, and then head back into the BIOS to set the 960 EVO as the primary boot option.

It's simple.

Don't connect any drive except the 960EVO. Plug the USB stick in. Your PC will lnstall Windows 10 to the 960EVO as boot drive. After finish installing Windows, connect other HDD/SSD. Done.

Since only the 960EVO has the OS on it. The mobo will automatically choose it as primary boot drive.
