Pc freezes and blackscreens.

Okay basically, Pc works fine most of the time but sometimes when doing nothing in particular it freezes for 5-30 seconds, mouse till moves but EVERY program becomes non responsive then it all catches up and works fine again for a bit.
second problem is that it sometimes decides to go into its own version of sleep, (I've turned off it in windows) where it just turns off the monitors but keeps the fan and lights going.
Would appreciate some help since I am selling the pc when buying my new one.

• AMD FX-8350
  16 Gb ram 1146 mhz
  ASrock 970 Extreme4
  1060 6Gb Strix 
  one ssd and one harddrive
  550W PSU
  Latest Bios 
  
  (Tried switching ram and gpu, Did not solve it)

i think gpu drivers, ihad kind of same but fixed it with driver updates
