sp120 fan controller help

so i was looking at the corsair sp120 rbg fans but i need 8 of them and the controller only takes 6 fans can i use a fan spliter to run the extra two fans and not have any problems

That won't work your only option is to have a second hub if you want more than the 6 fans.

Unfortunately, since it has to do with the modes and settings on the unit where it has sequential lighting for some modes where it will go from connector 1 to 6.
