Monitor for PS4

Hey so I need a monitor for my PS4, I need something cheap but good quality, preferably something from Asus or Benq as they are very good brands as I've been told. Thanks for your help! Don't want a TV cause well let's be honest with streaming like Netflix or Amazon why does a (poor) college kid need a tv when she can get by with her laptop and a monitor lol

I don't understand why not a monitor over a TV? if you have a laptop why not get the TV for the sake of having a large screen to play?

Well for one, I'm poor, I'm living with my parents and plan to move out and can't just take the tv we already have with me, less weight and better graphics

Why not buy a TV for the same price? They're usually bigger and cost less (Like a 4K tv will cost less than a 4K monitor)
