660 Ti for $35 or 7970 for $70?

crazysteve240

I have come across two deals on graphics cards. A MSI 660 Ti (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127711) for $35 and a GIGABYTE 7970 (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125413) for $70. The 7970 is only around 30% more powerful than the 660 Ti according to Userbenchmark. Which card do you think is the better value?

7970 since it still officially supported by AMD. GCN still gets driver updates.

tbh 660 ti seems like the better deal but with the 7970 you get better driver support and finewine. So if you have the extra cash 7970.

660Ti will OC to around 670-680 ish performance making it level with 7970, for the price the 660Ti is a better buy.
