Hard drive grinding for a second when restarting the pc

As @Boogieman_WD once told me, a lot of HDDs will make that kind of sound when spinning up/down, and it's fine. I've had one such drive for about a year now, no performance decrease and nothing bad on CrystalDiskInfo

I'm OC'ing a friends pc to speed it up. I got it to 2.74 GHZ stable and now the hard drive is grinding for half a second when i restart it to go into the bios or restart windows. I Also noticed its much slower logging into windows. Crystaldiskinfo says its good. Any ideas?

 

Specs:

Intel Pentium Dual core E2160 at 2.74 GHZ at 1.35000V at 40 degrees C

4 GB ram running at 813 MHZ
Seagate ST3250310AS 250 GB 7200 rpm HDD

Stress test: Aida64, 6 chrome tabs (one playing youtube rest on social media sites), file explorer, CPU-Z, and task manager and me using it right now

 

The system has been stress testing for over an hour and currently stable.

 

Any ideas why the hard drive grinds while restarting?

It's fine. It's the actuator starting and the spindle quickly ramping up to the rated speed.
