Steam - Download and Updating is Bugged ? help ? 99%? connection time out ?

Everything was fine until i got back home from st.patricks day when i noticed i coudlnt play any games they all needed updating so i try updating they download to about 99%and then it starts to slow down the download speed to bytes then the Est just climbs and climbs till i get connection timed out ?

Reboot the pc? Looks like your network is dead, but it might be a steam issue.

ive done a complete reinstall already and disabled firewall nothing works this problem only persists on steam

I've even downloaded a program called smart close which closes all processes except the process that make my pc run i dunno what to do

I had that problem. Mine was caused by word blocking.

If I blocked the word "BBC" in my router it would cause this problem.

its against my internet provider terms to give us access to are router settings through default gateway we live in a urban area in ireland we get internet through LTE its pretty good up to 70MB per sec but we have a 20gb download usage per day once that's hit are internet speed is slowed until the next day so it would be impossible for that to be my problem but thanks
