About ChromeOS and "Android Apps support"

So, this is what's happening to me.

My Asus C300 was supposed to get Android Apps support on v55, but I still can't see the damn box to enable it.

Updated it to the canary channel, to v59, made a lot of things that I saw people did and worked to them but not for me.

There you have some screenshots so you can verify that i'm not crazy at all. It is in Spanish, if you don't know what it means, just ask.

Anyone that knows about this and could help me? Thanks in advance

So it looks like it should be getting the update from what I've read and seen.

If you haven't already after updating to canary I'd suggest restarting the Chromebook. You can also try in the url bar 'chrome://restart'.

I can see on the official chromium website that your model is there, but says it's coming sometime in 2017:

https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps

However, other sites such as below show that the option should be availiable for the C300 as long as you're on the developer channel.

My suggestion would be trying the steps at the following site:

https://9to5google.com/2016/10/06/how-to-get-android-apps-running-on-almost-any-chromebook-right-now-video/

Essentially it's just enabling Developer mode and then change a value in the Terminal.

Let me know how it goes!

while (true) {

    live();

}

Thank you for your reply,

I'm really dissapointed with this, because nothing seems to make it work, already tried what you linked, still nothing, I guess I'll have to wait until the Spanish chromebook comunity says anything or I could even try to do a powerwash and try this again, meh...

Thank you anyway.
